About the Instructor
Kate Bollanou is an experienced corporate trainer and academic lecturer specializing in workplace soft skills and intercultural communication. With over 20 years of experience and a mixed heritage, she is an expert in fostering collaboration between Greek and Filipino maritime professionals. She has worked with companies such as RINA, Teekay, Maran Tankers, and Marlow Navigation. A certified Global Dexterity trainer, she holds an MSc in Shipping and Commercial Law and a PQE from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Kate’s insights have been featured in Hellenic Shipping News, Lloyd’s Register, and the Manila Times. She has also delivered talks at major conferences, including NATO’s Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre, WISTA, and CrewConnect Global, and has been recognized on the TEDx stage.
