The LNG STS Transfer Operation course will give trainees the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of various aspects pertaining to STS mooring and transfer operations. This includes becoming familiar with relevant procedures for both regular and emergency situations, as well as gaining knowledge about the specialized equipment that plays a crucial role in facilitating smooth LNG cargo transfers. The focus will particularly be on the transfer process between an LNG Carrier (LNGC) and a Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU).
