Enclosed space  – Emergencies and rescue

Entering an enclosed space is a risky operation, where many things can go wrong.

If a seafarer is in danger, it’s essential to stay focused and alert, to keep everyone safe. Rescue operations in these confined environments are equally hazardous and require careful planning and execution.

In this context, understanding the potential hazards, using the right equipment, and following established protocols, can make a critical difference, in the outcome of a rescue.
